Aug 2025 — Mini Class + Donation Drive Stanford University

Over the summer, we collaborated with Stanford University in a variety of ways.

First, Founder and CEO, Isabella Huang, helped plan, organize, and facilitate a mini-class about community service. The min-class took the form of discussion-based seminars about service from different perspectives: ethics, history, sociology, neuroscience, etc. Isabella also helped organized community service activities e.g. visiting Donahue Farm, organizing clothes and device drive, etc. Additionally, LWB also organized a speaker panel for young change-makers to share their experiences. This panel included Isabella Huang from LWB; Ellen Goncharov, Founder & CEO @ Light Up Project, a teen-led non-profit initiative focused on undoing the stigma associated with mental health; and Ben Zislin, an independent speaker who works on increasing accessibility of STEM subjects to children with disabilities.

Additionally, LWB partnered with Stanford University and Stanford Online High School to donate clothing to local shelters and devices to marginalized communities. We are happy to announce that between LWB and Stanford University Online High School, we received 133 articles of kid-sized clothing, 112 articles of adult-sized clothing, and 5 electronic devices.

Mar 2025 — Donation Event at Dujiangyan Qingcheng Primary School
